As a key member of the Marketing team, you’ll help shape health and wellness outcomes for people around the world.
In this role, you will:
Job Summary
Reporting to the Marketing Director, Jamieson, Canada BU, the Brand Manager Jamieson Canada will work in close partnership with the Marketing Director to drive portfolio strategy and performance management. This role is responsible for ensuring in-year metrics are delivered as planned and will use data and analytics to drive corrective action and portfolio choices as required, to consistently deliver sales, profit, market share, and customer ranking goals. As a key cross-functional people leader, the Brand Manager will lead portfolio strategy and performance management and ensure that brand activity is aligned behind priorities.
The Brand
Manager partners cross-functionally with Sales, Insights, Innovation, Regulatory, Finance, and external agencies to ensure consistent, consumer-centric execution across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Strategy & Planning
- Lead the annual brand planning process including setting objectives, strategies and KPIs aligned with business goals
- Develop 360 marketing plans (paid, owned, earned channels)
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights and competitive landscape to inform strategy
- Manage brand positioning and ensure consistency across all communications
- Performance & Analytics
- Track, analyze and report on brand performance including sales, market share and campaign ROI
- Leverage multiple data sources (e.g. Nielsen, retailer data, digital analytics, brand tracking) to generate actionable insights
- Identify drivers of performance (distribution, pricing, promotion, media effectiveness) and translate findings into optimization plans
- Build compelling performance narratives and recommendations for senior leadership, connecting data to clear business actions
- Champion a test-and-learn mindset, embedding experimentation into marketing plans
- Continuously assess competitive performance and category dynamics to identify risk and opportunities
- Manage brand budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources
- Cross Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales and Commercial Excellence to align brand strategies with customer plans
- Partner with Finance on forecasting and budget management
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to align demand planning and brand initiatives
- Act as a brand steward across the organization
- Innovation & Portfolio Management
- Partner closely with the Innovation Manager to shape and deliver a robust innovation pipeline aligned with brand strategy and growth priorities
- Provide consumer, category and brand insights to inform innovation development, positioning and claims
- Lead commercialization and go-to-market execution for all new product launches, ensuring strong alignment across marketing, sales and customer activation
- Manage the existing portfolio to drive growth, profitability, and strategic focus, including SKU rationalization and renovation opportunities
- Collaborate with Innovation Manager, R&D;, and Regulatory to ensure new products are consumer-relevant, differentiated and compliant with Canadian regulations
- Campaign Execution & Marketing Activation
- Partner with the Integrated Marketing Manager to translate brand strategy into integrated, consumer centric campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels
- Lead development of campaign briefs, ensuring clarity on objectives, target audience, key messages, consumer insight and success metrics
- Provide strategic direction and guardrails to ensure all executions are aligned with brand positioning and priorities
- Partner with Sales and Integrated Marketing to ensure strong in-store activation and customer alignment
- Oversee campaign performance with the Integrated Marketing Manager, identifying optimization opportunities and ensuring continuous improvement
- Act as a brand steward across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance in all consumer-facing communications
What You Bring
You bring curiosity, collaboration, and a desire to do meaningful work. You may bring experience in
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements
- College or University degree required; business preferred
- Minimum 5-8+ years of brand management experience in CPG, with preference for health,
wellness or supplements
- Excellent track record of performance with regards brand building and brand management.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data and insights
- Experience managing budgets and delivering measurable ROI
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns and product launches
- Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to ensure end to end execution is meeting deadlines and performance expectations.
- Strong people management and development experience, with a successful track record of leading a team.
- Knowledge of Nielsen, IQVIA or other POS data sources an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Compensation
Jamieson Wellness offers a competitive total rewards package designed to support your well-being and professional growth. This includes base pay, eligibility for our Short-Term Incentive Program, and a comprehensive benefits offering.
For this role, the posting range is $80,550 to $120,850 which reflects the full salary range of the position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, level of education, role scope, and other professional qualifications aligned with the requirements and complexity of this position.
