Job SummaryCompletes troubleshooting, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop independently while coaching and developing less experienced technicians.We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Mississauga, ON).ResponsibilitiesComplete repairs on engine products in a service shopPerform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic toolsMaintain detailed records of serviced vehiclesAdhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policiesOngoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins productsMaintain own toolsRequired QualificationsValid Ontario Truck and Coach (310T) License is mandatoryMinimum of five (5) years of Truck and Coach repair experienceCompletes complex internal engine repairsPerforms complex unassisted engine overhaulsAbility to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic toolsDetailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and componentsMentor junior technicians including technical support and documentationPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience working on Cummins engines is considered an assetPrevious bumper-to-bumper Truck and Coach repair experience is considered an assetCompensation and BenefitsHourly wage:$44.81 to $48.62,
in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Placement within the wage range will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.Premium of$2.00 per hourfor hours worked on refuse packers, chemical waste vehicles (excluding recent units), and motor homes.Premium of$2.25 per hourfor hours worked on transit buses.Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
