Project Coordinator – Continuous ImprovementUnder the direction of the CI Director or Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for implementing improvement initiatives and supporting Aecon CI program elements, enabling operations teams to achieve predictable, excellent, and ever‑improving results in project execution.ResponsibilitiesAssist in coordination and project management of core CI deliverables.Serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for assigned initiatives.Maintain schedules and track tasks/action items for all deliverables.Facilitate and chair key stakeholder meetings (IMS, ENC, change management).Prepare and administer communications related to CI deliverables.Prepare, maintain, and deliver presentations and training.Analyze, screen, and evaluate incoming improvement initiatives (e.G., Waste Walks, lessons learned, KPI trends).Create supporting documents (procedures, templates, work aids).Coordinate activities across projects and sectors.Support the development and implementation of key CI deliverables such as Big Rooms, Visual Management centres, LPS, Waste walks, and field productivity studies.Prepare progress reports for leadership and executive reporting.Draft CI Training Plans for corporate or sector training teams.Serve as liaison/SPOC with sector training, Aecon University, and HR Systems (LMS).Adhere to company, sector, quality program,



and departmental policies and procedures.Coordinate across all functions of the project to achieve goals.Potentially supervise team members depending on tasks.Perform other duties as required.QualificationsUndergraduate degree in Engineering, technical college diploma, business administration, or equivalent.1–3 years of collective experience in a related field, including project execution and general coordination.Preferred 1–3 years of Project Management/Coordination experience.Experience coordinating construction projects or related support initiatives.Knowledge of construction elements: technology, equipment, methods, trade agreements, jurisdiction, engineering, cost control, scheduling, and safety.Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.High proficiency with standard computer programs.Experience preparing and delivering project reports and presentations to stakeholders.CompensationSalary range: $70,000–$80,000.
