Job Summary

We are currently seeking an initiative-taking Buyer, Digital Investment & Activation to join our growing team in Canada. This individual will primarily be responsible for executing campaign activity across display, video, and social. The knowledge acquired from ongoing campaign observations will also funnel into planning considerations. Ultimately, this role should drive performance and innovation at the campaign level to deliver the best digital media opportunities for clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- 40% - Media buying execution. Negotiate, sign IOs, and execute campaigns across digital channels.

- 20% - Campaign set up. Ensure that all proper tags and site pixels are set up and tested prior to campaign launch date to ensure flawless campaign execution.

- 20% - Campaign management. Daily check of social activity and weekly check in of display and video activity to gauge campaign pacing and highlight potential areas of optimization. Some of this work may be done alongside the Data Analyst(s). Be in contact with reps as needed to troubleshoot any ongoing issues that may impede campaign delivery.

- 10% - Reporting. In some cases, the Data Analyst(s) will maintain the lead on client reporting and the Buyer, Digital Investment & Activation will aid as needed.

- 5% - Client management and presentations. As needed, assist with client management pertaining to campaign activity. Present documentation to client (i.e., campaign wrap up reports).

- 5% - Administration. Input campaign activity into account maintenance system.

Assist Budget

Analyst(s) and/or Media Support Coordinator(s) with invoice reconciliation and client billing as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Assist with supervision of Media Assistant(s) as needed.





Knowledge And Skills Required

- 2-4 years of digital media experience.

- Video buying experience an asset.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

- Experience inputting, managing, and analyzing campaigns through AdWords, Facebook, Twitter.

- Strong written, presentation, strategic, and analytical skills.

- Able to work independently with excellent time management and organizational skills.

- Analytical person with the ability to develop creative solutions in a challenging setting.

Certificates, licenses, and registrations

Google, Facebook, and Twitter certifications an asset.
