The YMCA of Pictou County is searching for a dynamic individual who can foster a nurturing atmosphere for young learners. You will supervise and facilitate age-appropriate activities, while ensuring children’s physical, emotional, and social needs are prioritized. Experience in educational or childcare settings is valued, alongside a passion for community support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure children are supervised during activities
• Develop engaging, age-appropriate programming
• Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians




• Uphold confidentiality and program integrity
• Promote YMCA’s mission and values among participants
Requirements:
• Must have experience working with children
• Part-time availability Monday to Friday required
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (options for training)
• Explicit criminal record and child abuse registry check
• High Five Principles of Child Development training preferred
