Overview

Notre-Dame Hospital in Hearst, Ontario, is seeking a dynamic, benevolent and visionary leader for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services, and fostering a culture of excellence, under the guidance of the Board of directors.

Responsibilities

- Provide visionary leadership to guide the hospital in achieving its mission and goals.
- Collaborate with the board of directors, medical staff, and other stakeholders to develop and implement the strategic plan.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of healthcare professionals, promoting a positive and collaborative work setting.
- Ensure efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and patient-centered care.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, government agencies, and healthcare organizations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Ensure the optimal use of human, financial and material resources.
- Exercise immediate and assertive action when addressing sensitive matters, ensuring decisions are made promptly, appropriately, and in alignment with organizational policies.
- Demonstrate sound business judgment in all situations,



ensuring decisions prioritize safety, professionalism, fiscal responsibility, and ethical standards.

Required Profile

- First cycle university degree in business administration or commerce or related field.
- At least five years’ experience in a senior executive role

- Experience within the healthcare industry is considered an asset.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Very strong written and spoken communication ability in French and English
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.

Annual salary: $177,703.50, as well as a generous and competitive benefits package and a pension plan.
