Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate, energetic individual to join our Bakery Café team as a Sales Associate / Barista. Serving as the welcoming face of our Coquitlam café, you will greet guests, craft exceptional beverages, prepare light bakery items, and deliver an authentic French bakery experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Warmly greet and assist guests with friendly, professional customer service.
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees, teas, and beverages to brand standards.
- Assemble sandwiches and prepare bakery items in strict accordance with food safety regulations.
- Package baked goods carefully to preserve presentation and visual appeal.
- Process cash, debit, credit, and digital POS transactions accurately.
- Restock bakery displays, merchandise items, and manage product rotation using FIFO principles.
- Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized dining, counter, and workstation spaces.
- Uphold all health, hygiene, and workplace sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily flow and promptly report any equipment, quality, or safety concerns.

Qualifications & Requirements





- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a rapid-paced café environment with high attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of safe food handling procedures.
- Comfortable performing physical and repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Previous experience in a bakery, café, or coffee shop setting is an asset.
- FoodSafe Level 1 certification is considered an asset.
