This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA-designated professional who thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment and enjoys supporting full-cycle accounting in a plant-based setting.This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesVerify accuracy of accounts payable invoices and approve in accordance with internal policiesPrepare, reconcile,



and submit monthly HST remittancesMaintain and update foreign exchange rates in the ERP systemPrepare and post month-end journal entriesProvide backup support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functionsApprove daily cheque lists and sales invoice processing as delegatedReview and approve shipping lists to support AR processingPrepare ad hoc and recurring financial reportsAssist with internal and external audits, ensuring documentation readinessSupport alignment with overall finance department goals and deadlinesQualificationsCPA designation (required)Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related fieldMinimum 3+ years of experience in a finance/accounting role, preferably within a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of corporate accounting and financial processesExperience with ERP systems (LN or similar considered an asset)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally#MPCANO
