Pay & SchedulePay:$21.34/hourSchedule:Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pmPosition SummaryThe Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary warehouse and office environment in accordance with company standards for safety, quality, and productivity. This role supports product safety, quality, and legality while contributing to a safe and efficient workplace that delivers value to customers.Primary ResponsibilitiesOperate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently throughout warehouse and office areas.Follow assigned sanitation logs and requirements consistently.Use and understand cleaning materials and liquids as directed.Monitor cleaning supply inventory and communicate reorder needs.Ensure floors are free of debris and maintain a clean, orderly appearance.Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with company standards.Report any unkempt areas from previous shifts to the supervisor.Remove snow from designated areas as seasonally required.If trained, inspect sweeper scrubber equipment before and after use to ensure proper function and appearance.Identify and report areas of waste that may impact operational flow.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma preferred.Sanitation and janitorial experience preferred.Skills and CompetenciesAbility to read, speak,
and understand English to complete assignments.Adaptability to changing work environments and tasks.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Customer service oriented and robust team player.Physical & Cognitive RequirementsAbility to follow policies and procedures.Ability to read, write and interpret information.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.Ability to sit, walk, or stand for the duration of the shift.Must possess visual acuity to perform essential job functions.Ability to conduct physical tasks with a full range of motion throughout the warehouse environment.Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.Language RequirementIf the incumbent resides in the province of Quebec, functional French (written and spoken) is required.Driving RequirementsCandidates must have a valid driver’s license (e.G., Class 5, G, or 1[AZ]) and a driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the 24 months prior to the date of application.Their current driver’s abstract will be assessed.Their performance during application interviews will be assessed.Their performance on any driver competency assessments administered will be assessed.Pay RangeCAD $17.95 – $25.71#J-18808-Ljbffr
