Role Description This full-time, on-site Corporate Tax Accountant role is based in Aylmer, ON.

The Corporate Tax

Accountant will prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensure compliance with federal and provincial tax regulations, and assist with tax planning strategies for clients. Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, and identifying tax issues or opportunities. The role involves communicating with clients to gather information, clarify tax positions, and explain findings in a clear, professional manner.

The Corporate Tax

Accountant will also support internal process improvements,



stay current with changes in tax legislation, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

- Strong tax-focused skills, including Tax, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation for corporate entities.
- Proficiency in Accounting and the preparation and analysis of Financial Statements.
- Relevant post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional designation (e.g., CPA or equivalent in progress or completed) is an asset.
- Experience with corporate tax filings in Canada and familiarity with Canadian tax legislation and reporting requirements.
- Advanced skills in accounting and tax software, as well as MS Excel and other office applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and professional ethics.
