We're looking for an experienced, reliable, and personable bartender to join our team in New Denver, BC, in the heart of the beautiful Kootenay region.

This is a great prospect for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, meeting people, and being part of a small-town pub workplace.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities include:
Providing warm, attentive, and professional service
Preparing and serving beer, wine, cocktails, and other beverages
Taking orders and processing payments accurately
Working quickly and efficiently during busy periods
Prioritizing and managing multiple tasks effectively
Keeping the bar clean, organized, and well stocked
Opening and closing duties
Cleaning and maintaining bar equipment and beer tap lines
Following responsible alcohol service and food safety procedures
Pitching in with general pub and restaurant duties as needed

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
2+ years of bartending experience
Naturally personable




Able to have a laugh and enjoy conversation with guests while maintaining skilled boundaries
Attentive and able to read a room and anticipate guests' needs
Fast, organized, and able to prioritize workload
Calm and diplomatic when dealing with challenging situations
Trustworthy and responsible, particularly when handling cash and alcohol
A team player who is willing to help wherever needed
Serving It Right certification required (or willingness to obtain). Experience with beer tap systems and cleaning tap lines is an asset.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg) as required
Ability to safely perform routine stocking, cleaning, opening, and closing duties
