Bayshore Medical Personnel is looking for a part time Conscious Sedation Registered Nurse in Petawawa, ON. Enjoy Monday-Friday daytime shifts without nights or weekends.This position requires a motivated RN with at least one year of experience in parenteral conscious sedation. You'll provide important nursing services in a dental clinic setting, managing sedation and ensuring patient safety. Your role is crucial in supporting patient recovery and discharge after procedures, as part of a team-oriented dental team.Key Responsibilities:
Provide essential pre-operative nursing and education
Initiate and oversee conscious sedation procedures
Monitor patients' cardiac and respiratory health
Recognize post-operative complications and address needs
Discharge patients in secure conditions post-procedureRequirements:
RN Diploma or Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited institution
Current provincial RN license and BLS certification
Valid ACLS certification in accordance with guidelines
Minimum of 1 year experience in sedation nursing
