The National Club is entering an exciting period of growth and development. We are looking for an accomplished Director of Food & Beverage to lead that growth and help shape the Club's food and beverage program for the future.

The Opportunity

This is more than a conventional hotel or restaurant F&B; role.

At The National Club, food and beverage is central to the member experience, while also supporting our guest rooms, private events and broader hospitality offering.

The Director will lead the operation while creating a culture of service, hospitality and engagement that encourages members to use the Club more often—and to bring their colleagues, clients, and guests with them.

There is also a significant opportunity to grow the business. The successful candidate will build on the Club’s catering, banquets, weddings and corporate event business, develop new revenue opportunities, and maximize the use of the Club’s distinctive spaces.

Working directly with the CEO and senior leadership team, the Director will play an important role in shaping the Club’s hospitality strategy and overall member experience.

The Role The Director will:

· Lead all aspects of the Club’s food and beverage operation, including dining, lounges, guest room service, banquets, and private events.

· Make the member experience the foundation of F&B; service, programming, and standards.

· Build strong relationships with members and become a visible and trusted presence throughout the Club.

· Lead the growth of catering, weddings, corporate entertaining, banquets, and private events.





· Identify new opportunities to increase F&B; revenue and maximize the use of the Club’s spaces.

· Establish consistently high standards of service, hospitality, and presentation.

· Lead, coach, and develop the F&B; team and work closely with culinary leadership.

· Maintain strong control of budgets, labour, food and beverage costs and overall financial performance.

· Partner with the CEO and leadership team to strengthen member engagement and advance the Club’s broader objectives.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an accomplished hospitality professional who combines strong operating discipline, commercial instinct, and an exceptional understanding of service.

You will bring:

· A proven record of senior F&B; leadership and team development.

· Demonstrated success growing catering, events, banquets, or other hospitality revenue.

· Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate strategy into results.

· The ability to build genuine, long-term relationships with members, clients, and guests.

· The presence, discretion, and judgment to work comfortably with senior business and professional leaders.

· A leadership style that is visible, engaged and focused on standards, accountability, and results.

· A genuine passion for hospitality and creating experiences people want to return to.

Private club experience is an asset, but not essential. What matters is an appreciation that the best private clubs succeed by combining exceptional hospitality, commercial discipline, and a deep understanding of the member experience.
