Director of Strategic Markets

AD Energy is partnering with a growing business in the circular economy space to recruit a Director of Strategic Markets.

This is a senior commercial role focused on turning innovative technologies and products into real, long-term revenue opportunities. You’ll work closely with the executive leadership team to open recent markets, secure strategic partnerships, negotiate major commercial agreements and help shape the company’s wider growth strategy.

You’ll have real influence across commercial strategy, M&A;, new facility development, feedstock agreements, offtake and investment decisions — with the opportunity to build out a team as the business continues to grow.

What you’ll be doing:

- Developing new markets and commercial opportunities
- Securing long-term feedstock, intake and offtake agreements
- Leading complex commercial negotiations and strategic partnerships
- Supporting new facility development and DBO projects
- Identifying and progressing M&A; opportunities
- Building financial models and assessing new investments
- Working across Engineering, Operations,



Finance and Commercial teams
- Building relationships with customers, municipalities, regulators and industry partners
- Helping shape the long-term commercial and growth strategy

What we’re looking for:

You’ll ideally bring 10 years of commercial experience within technically complex industrial markets, with a strong track record of taking new technologies, products or solutions to market.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with experience across renewable energy, biogas/RNG, waste management, environmental services, environmental commodities or the wider circular economy.

You’ll need robust commercial and financial acumen, experience negotiating significant contracts and partnerships, and the ability to operate comfortably between technical engineering conversations and executive-level commercial negotiations.

An Engineering degree is preferred, with an MBA or equivalent commercial leadership experience advantageous.
