Duties

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Maintain the dishwashing station by organizing clean items for easy access by kitchen staff
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas promptly during service
- Help with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and waste disposal to uphold a hygienic environment




- Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Follow all food handling safety protocols and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations

Skills

- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling, cleaning procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in various duties such as bussing or food prep
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and safety practices
- Experience with banquet or catering services is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively within the team
