Rivercity Inclusion Society Campbell River, Vancouver Island, BC is hiring and looking for candidates who want to make a difference with children in a school/child care setting who may need additional support.

- Tuesday and Thursday
- 9:00am – 1:15pm Rate of Pay $23.73 Location Campbell River, BC Requirements Must be an early Childhood Educator with current BC License to practice as an early Childhood Educator. Three years’ experience working in an inclusive childcare setting. Preference may be given to an Early Childhood Education Special Educator with current BC License to practice as an Early Childhood Education Special Educator. Consideration will be given to applicants with ECE-A (assistant) certification.





Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills Ability to collaborate and work effectively as a member of an inter-professional team. Strong oral communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to provide a calm, healthy, responsive relationship with the child and to establish and maintain supportive, team-oriented relationships with families and childcare setting staff.

Able to work independently and efficiently with minimum supervision. Ability to maintain confidentiality and maintain a positive, professional, non-judgmental attitude. Must be physically fit, willing and able to meet all physical demands of the job.
