Job Posting: Early Childhood Educator (NOC 42202) Employer: Presidential Kids Academy Childcare Centre Inc.
Location: 400 Carmi Ave, Penticton V2A 3G5
Position: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $28.00 per hour + 4% vacation pay
Hours: 30 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for: · Designing and implementing developmentally appropriate programs for children aged 0–5. · Leading daily activities such as storytelling, creative arts, music, outdoor play, and guided exploration. · Observing children’s behavior and development and documenting progress. · Identifying potential developmental delays or concerns and informing supervisors and families. · Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. · Ensuring children’s safety, health, and well-being at all times. · Assisting children with daily routines such as eating, dressing, toileting, and hygiene. · Maintaining a clean,
organized, and safe classroom environment. · Complying with licensing regulations and centre policies. · Preparing learning materials, resources, and activity plans.
Education Requirements · Completion of a recognized Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or Diploma program is required. · ECE Licence to Practice in British Columbia (or eligibility to obtain). · Additional education or coursework in child development, early childhood pedagogy, or special needs is considered an asset.

Requirements · Current First Aid & CPR Level C certification (or willingness to obtain). · Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening. · Solid interpersonal and communication skills. · Previous experience working with children in a licensed childcare or early learning setting is an asset.
