Want to use your expertise to connect to an IT career with a difference? As an endpoint systems engineer II within our organization, you’ll do just that. Using leading-edge technology, you’ll help connect British Columbians to healthy and safe workplaces – providing support for injury prevention programs, rehabilitation services, workplace insurance, and robust health and safety cultures.

In this role, you’ll play a key role in directing the engineering efforts for all WorkSafeBC Desktop infrastructure technologies and guide team members by overseeing the implementation of desktop and application delivery technologies. You’ll design, develop, document, maintain and communicate policies, processes, and procedures related to the end user infrastructure design, management and automated delivery processes. You’ll also lead the development roadmaps related to Desktop User Interface Infrastructure architecture.

You’ll ensure business critical decisions are made related to the design and oversight of end user based technologies to have a positive impact on business and financial performance.

As An Endpoint Systems Engineer II You Will





- Contribute to the end user infrastructure design and configuration of new hardware and software
- Create and maintain infrastructure standards for end user-facing technologies
- Provide and maintain in-house multi-processor configurations and technology solutions
- Design automated software events, delivery, reporting, error tracking, system utilization, and system optimization
- Monitor and analyze performance statistics of installed software and hardware using complex data gathering to make recommendations
- Research and identify technical design alternatives for end user infrastructure delivery and all associated components
- Lead and participate in the design and evaluation of Distributed Systems solutions and technologies
- Conduct proof-of-concept and test and implement recent application release, features and procedures
- Consistently models the appropriate level of organizational behaviours expected of all WorkSafeBC employees: responsive, respectful, fair, collaborative, accountable, and forward thinking.
