Your OpportunityBDO Digital seeks an experienced Senior Consultant SOC investigator to contribute investigative skills within Microsoft managed detection and response services on a continuous basis.ResponsibilitiesRespond to escalated incidents from Microsoft Sentinel clients.Contribute across the entire investigative lifecycle of an incident.Interact with clients and collaborate through investigation completion.Identify quality issues across all SOC processes to improve client quality.Maintain awareness of contemporary cyber threats and their impacts.Support and execute security engineering tasks to sustain SOC activities.Maintain extensive awareness of Microsoft and related security technologies.Participate in morning or evening shift work.Success ExpectationsDemonstrate BDO's core values: Integrity, Respect, Collaboration.Understand client's industry, challenges, and opportunities; deliver high-quality work.Effectively participate in the cyber operations team.Focus on effective service delivery to clients.Engage in an inclusive, respectful work environment.Support adoption of new digital tools and innovation.Grow expertise through learning and professional development.Experience and EducationDegree or Diploma in cybersecurity, IT, or related area.5+ years of experience investigating incidents within a SOC.Knowledge of next‐generation security operations, including Sentinel and contemporary EDRs.Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, Active Directory, VM,
