OVERVIEW The Food & Beverage Cashier is responsible for the efficient operation of the 24/7 Eats window at Parq Casino. They will assist guests with food orders and ensure they leave with a positive lasting impression.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Knowledge of all food promotions and Food items on the menu
- Properly refill condiments or any necessary to go items when stock is low
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work area and environment
- Operate in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Provide proactive customer service, in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customers’ orders while operating the cash register
- Receive and dispense correct change to customers
- Issuing receipts, refunds, credits, change and cash outs at end of shift




- Responsible for providing professional and exceptional customer service in accordance with established company standards
- Greet and communicate with all guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Clear, clean maintain tables that guests use and general cleaning of work area in the 2go area
- Perform other job-related duties, as directed by management

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- Ability to get along well with others in a team environment
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Proven superior customer service experience
- Committed to promoting a safe work environment
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate operational needs of a casino setting
- Friendly, outgoing and professional
- Respectful approach and demeanor

CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to obtain a valid GAMW registration
- Ability to complete all BCLC required trainings
- Food Safe Certification
- Serving it Right Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
- Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours
