VSOCC is seeking a permanent part-time cook to deliver on pre-set menus for our food program. This role requires food preparation, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. You'll thrive in a busy atmosphere while ensuring meals are secure and enjoyable for children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals for groups of 35 to 60 children
• Wash and sanitize lunch and snack dishes
• Follow recipes and determine necessary quantities
• Maintain inventory and order food supplies
• Keep the kitchen organized and tidy
Requirements:
• Food Secure Certification 1
• Clear criminal record check
• High school diploma
• Basic First Aid certification
• Experience cooking for groups of children
