Assess residents for recreation therapy needs
Create and communicate individualized treatment goals
Ensure resident participation in recreation programs
Assist and direct Recreation Therapy Aides
Document and report residents’ therapy outcomesRequirements:
Bachelor Degree or diploma in Recreation Therapy
Eligible for Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association
Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Proficiency in assessments and MDS preparation
