Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit child care centre with 3 locations in Arnprior, Renfrew and Pembroke. The Pembroke location is located at 279 Clemow Ave in Pembroke.

We offer Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School Aged Programs (located inside Lady of Lourdes School). We require 1 Floater beginning immediately, working 8 hours daily Monday to Friday. This role would be to float between all programs/all shifts to cover staff. Time will be required in all programs.

The rate of pay is $19.00 up to $23.52

These hours have the ability to qualify for $2.00/hour WEG (Wage Enhancement Grant) as well.

This posting is for a new position, and it requires:

- Registered with the College of ECE IF you have your ECE certification
- Experience with young children
- Current Standard First Aid / CPR C
- Current Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector




- Proof of up-to-date immunizations and the ability to get note from a medical practitioner indicating valuable health
- WHMIS, AODA, CCEYA certificates (we can help a successful candidate secure these certificates)

Recommended

- Knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH Considered an Asset:
- Experience with children in a licensed childcare centre
- Experience with children with special needs
- Child centered educational background (RECE, DSW, etc)
