First founded in Toronto in 2003, Inspiration Learning Center has been providing professional and high quality tutoring services for students from elementary school to high school.

You will be teaching K-12 English/French/Math in private or small group settings at our tutoring center in York Mills (located at York Mills & Don Mills, North York). You will have access to a supportive setting, and we provide teaching materials, allowing you the flexibility to tailor lessons to each student's unique skill set.

Responsibilities

- Prepare for each lesson using materials provided by the center
- Deliver engaging instruction in one-on-one and small-group settings
- Help students strengthen their learning skills and critical-thinking abilities
- Assign, collect, and grade homework




- Monitor student performance and provide regular progress updates to the center’s administrative staff

Qualifications

- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
- Be enrolled in or graduated from post-secondary institutions
- Good teaching skills and experience in teaching K12 courses especially G1-G8
- Knowledge of the Ontario curriculum, having OCT certificate is an asset
- Ability to develop lesson plans based on students' needs and feedback
- Effective interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication
