FriesenPress is the only 100% employee-owned publishing services provider in the world — and we’re growing!
We are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join our remote workforce.
As Canada’s largest publishing service provider, FriesenPress helps authors realize their dream of publishing a book. Our suite of products includes various publishing packages containing a wide range of professional services. From editing, book layout and design, channel distribution, and marketing support, we help writers self-publish and succeed.
The Sales Manager is responsible for meeting key sales targets through the leadership of an established team of Publishing Consultants (inside sales reps) with a focus on both Canadian and US markets. This role is responsible for developing and successfully deploying sales initiatives, revenue growth and client retention strategies with a particular focus on growth through non-google Ads sources and scaling our existing speaking events with writing groups, publishing conferences, and author events strategies. This is a mixed leadership role where your time will be split between personally driving business development initiatives (B2B via securing speaking engagements and lead generation activities) and supporting a team of consultants.
This role partners closely with the Marketing team and Senior Director of Growth to support the implementation of sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring they are deployed in a way that allows the sales team to fully support, capitalize or execute on them, thus ensuring the optimal success of one another’s efforts.
This role requires a previous track record of scaling revenue, identifying and implementing lead generation strategies, and a demonstrated ability to hit and exceed team and personal targets.
If this sounds like the ideal position for you, we want to talk to you!
