Reporting to the Team Leader of Protection Services at Island Health, you will enforce security policies to ensure the safety of persons and property. The position occupies a critical role in maintaining quality and safety within the healthcare environment while requiring a commitment to continuous improvement. Candidates will work on a rotating schedule, supporting the team across various shifts.

Key Responsibilities:



• Enforce security policies and procedures effectively • Ensure safety for patients and staff across premises • Communicate promptly with team leaders and staff • Address security risks and incidents as they arise • Maintain valid security certifications and licenses

Requirements: • Grade 12 education or equivalent • Certified in Basic and Advanced Security Training • Holds a valid B.C. Security Guard License • Class 5 B.C. Driver's License • At least one year of related security experience
