Role Description The General Manager role at Barranco Partners is a full-time, on-site position based in Montreal, QC.

The General

Manager oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring that service standards, food quality, and client expectations are consistently met across consulting, marketing, and logistics activities. This role coordinates staffing and scheduling, monitors performance metrics, and implements operational improvements in collaboration with restaurant partners.

The General

Manager manages budgets, supports business development initiatives, and maintains strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams. The position also involves mentoring team members, resolving operational issues promptly,



and ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, with a robust understanding of front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Demonstrated skills in business operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
- Experience with client relationship management, stakeholder communication, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to lead and develop teams, including coaching, scheduling, and performance management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Knowledge of food safety, health regulations, and best practices in restaurant compliance.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and platforms used for marketing, logistics coordination, and reporting.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French is an asset given the Montreal location.
- Availability to work on-site in Montreal, QC, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as operational needs require.
- Post-secondary education in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
