We’re embarking on the next phase of our growth and we want you to join us!The OpportunityWe’re in search of a Driver to join our growing team within our Distribution Center. This role is a 3 or 6 month contract to start; it may be possibly extended. In this role, you will complete a daily delivery of product by driving our straight truck from our Distribution Center to our Whitby, Innisfil and Guelph Retail Store locations. Other duties would include assisting in different areas of the warehouse during peak periods, such as picking or packing orders, and completing any ad hoc general labour items that arise.ResponsibilitiesDeliver product to retail locations from our Distribution Center with a straight truckAssist with loading and unloading of product onto the delivery truckPick-up and distribute mail and packages traveling between buildingsAssist with other general warehouse dutiesAdhere to company safety policies and safety compliance regulationsQualificationsPrevious driving experience with a straight truck or similar vehicle is preferredMotivated,



have a strong work ethic and can work autonomouslyTeam player with respect for co-workersExcellent verbal communication and listening skillsWillingness to be adaptable and assist with different tasks as requiredAdditional InformationStarting Rate: $19.00/an hourThis schedule for this position is Wenesday and Friday from 9:30am until route completion (typcially 3:30pm, could go until 5:00pm). This role may also cover other driver's vacation requestsThis role is a 3 or 6 month contract to start; it may be possibly extended.This position works in a warehouse setting and the temperature is variable depending on seasonal conditions.
