Enhance healthcare education as a Part time Educator in Program Development at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre in Regina. This role focuses on supporting client care through effective training and resources.
Under the Primary Health Care Manager's guidance, the Program Development Educator is pivotal in implementing education programs that meet the needs of both staff and clients in various health service areas. This position actively participates in creating research-based educational frameworks to improve patient care experiences, particularly in Palliative Care.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate adult learning workshops and training sessions
Collaborate on developing healthcare guidelines and processes
Analyze learning needs and deliver targeted education
Foster a client-centered approach in care discussions
Engage with healthcare teams to improve staff competencies
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BScN) required
Three years of experience in a clinical workplace
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Solid facilitation and teaching skills
Valid driver’s license with travel for work duties
