At Prairie Machine, you will engage with a team dedicated to the development of advanced electrical systems for continuous boring machines and related mining equipment. Your expertise will enable you to design electrical specifications, rectify manufacturing issues, and conduct FAT testing.
Through up-to-date designs using the latest technologies, you’ll improve functionality and efficiency while minimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with design engineers on electrical layouts
Identify and resolve manufacturing shortcomings effectively
Execute FAT testing of mining equipment
Design electrical systems for 600V and 4160V operations
Use ETAP for performing load flow and circuit analysis
Requirements:
Completed BSc. in Engineering
At least 2 years’ experience in the field
BEV or Mining industry experience preferred
APEGS P. Eng. certification or ability to obtain
Knowledge of Autodesk setting and power system design
