Halifax Water is inviting applications for one(1) Regular Full time Process Technicianbased out of the Mill Cove Wastewater Treatment plant. The successful incumbent must successfully complete the Operator-in-Training wastewater certificate within six months of date of hire and pass the Level 1 Nova Scotia Department of Environment and Labour (NSEL)



Wastewater Treatment examination within 12 months of the date of hire. An equivalent combination of industry recognized wastewater treatment, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or instrumentation training and experience may be considered. The successful incumbent must also have a valid NS Driver's license and be willing to use their own vehicle.ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsibile for the operation and maintenance of Halifax Water wastewater pollution control facilities, biosolids handling facilities, leachate treatment facilities, and associated infrastructure.
