Contributes to the overall success of the Term Lending System (Mortgage) inside Canadian Banking Technology in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Work with peers and customers to support agile lab designs and ensure deliverables are according to Scotiabank's internal policies, standards and templates based on business, project and systems specs Participate in project planning, estimate and review processes Ability to showcase progress in projects/initiatives/programs, holding people accountable to their commitments and making sure we are on track for successful delivery Assisting senior management to enforce standards and methodology; ensuring solutions are in line with the technology standard/roadmap and mentoring the technical team members on a project to project basis Work on multiple complex projects/initiatives as a delivery leader Present and leverage technical information and solutions in a way that establishes trust relationships, persuades stakeholders and achieves understanding and consensus at all levels Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational,



compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Champions a high performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment. 10+ years of experience in managing the E2E delivery in complex system built various technology. ~10+ years of experience in driving dev team to meet project/initiative with collaboration with business and other system partners. ~ Strong technical background (i.e. ability to read code, provide feedback, knowledge of software design patterns); ~ Working experience in an Agile environment with complex project delivery; ~ Flexible and ready to adapt to a agile environment; ~ Solid understanding of software release process (environments, binary repositories, CI/CD); ~ Attention to details, high standards for quality, ability to balance risk with technological advancements; ~ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with ability to build and foster relationships with business users, project stakeholders, strategic technology partners and external vendors; ~ Hands-on technical working experience in modernizing legacy systems or similar transformational initiatives. ~10+ years of experience with banking domain (specially in Mortgage area) is an asset. ~ Experience with SOAP/RESTful services is an asset; ~ Mainframe interaction experience is an asset; Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Allyship - We strive to create an inclusive culture where every employee is empowered to reach their fullest potential, respected for who they are,
