Compensation & Hours:

The rate of pay will be $75K-$100K/year

Position Summary:

Lead the development of accurate, competitive estimates, including complex takeoffs, cost modeling, and full-scope validation

Drive cost planning, market analysis, and pricing strategies to support profitability and informed decision-making

Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships, including sourcing, negotiation, and performance oversight

Support project execution by assisting with scope development, schedules, budgets, and resource planning

Act as a key liaison between design teams, contractors, and field staff while maintaining accurate project documentation and progress tracking

Identify and help resolve project challenges, contribute to process improvements, and ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

5–7+ years of experience in construction estimating, project coordination, or project management within commercial construction

Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline

Proven ability to lead full-cycle estimating, including complex takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid submission for large-scale projects

Robust understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contract documents, and the full project lifecycle

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects, balancing budgets, timelines,



and stakeholder expectations with strong leadership and communication skills

Proficiency in Excel and estimating/project management software, with solid knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices

Bonus Points For:

EIT or CET designation with a background in engineering, construction management, or a related field

Experience in a leadership or mentorship capacity, supporting and developing junior team members

Strong ability to read, interpret, and coordinate complex construction drawings and specifications across disciplines

Experience working closely with multidisciplinary design teams (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical) to resolve coordination issues

Proficiency with construction and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or Smartsheet, along with exposure to ERP or integrated project/financial systems

Hands-on experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, material take-offs, and value engineering, with the ability to support technical problem-solving related to site conditions, sequencing, and buildability
