We are seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our Maintenance team, reporting to the Facilities Maintenance Manager. This role helps keep our residential and commercial properties safe, comfortable, and well maintained by completing general repairs, preventative maintenance, and seasonal grounds work.

About The Opportunity

- Respond to maintenance requests and concerns in a courteous and timely manner.
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete general repairs in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and grounds.
- Complete repairs such as patching and painting, replacing locks, and installing fixtures.
- Move, assemble, deliver, and set up furniture and equipment as required.
- Maintain common areas, offices, exterior grounds, lighting, signage, parking areas, and walkways.
- Complete seasonal maintenance, including snow removal, salting, landscaping support, and site clean-up.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required.




- Use PM Worx to manage work orders and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Identify and report hazards, safety concerns, and maintenance issues.
- Follow all safety, environmental, infection control, and emergency preparedness procedures.
- Participate in inspections, emergency exercises, and fire and safety initiatives.
- Communicate repair timelines and updates clearly to residents, guests, tenants, and team members.

About You In addition to placing high value on collaboration, accountability, and service excellence, you bring a practical, dependable, and solutions-focused approach to maintaining safe, comfortable, and well-maintained spaces. You take pride in working with your hands, solving problems, supporting others, and managing maintenance requests with professionalism and care you bring:

- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of maintenance experience, ideally in residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties.
- Basic knowledge of general building systems and repairs.
- Solid problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- The ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing requests, and work independently or as part of a team.
- The ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Initiative, accountability, and a willingness to learn and use technology.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or 23 kg and perform physical work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Asset Qualifications The following would be considered assets, but are not required:

- Certification or training in carpentry, refrigeration and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical trades, or a related field.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Previous experience in a residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, or retirement-living setting.
- Experience using preventative maintenance or work-order management systems.
- A willingness to learn, try new things, and contribute to a protected, welcoming, and well-maintained environment.
