Job Function: Work under the Section Manager, implement engineering goals/objectives/strategies by providing effective team leadership and direction in establishing/maintaining an effective design resource capacity management, project management and outsourcing management service. Plan, organize, schedule and coordinate work and assign tasks providing instruction, as required to ensure that utilization of available Engineering resource is maximized, engineering design is properly coordinated so that deliverables are completed on time and on schedule.



Manage the execution of consulting service contracts. Develop, obtain approval for and maintain engineering policies, standards, templates and processes. Report project status and resource capacity. Support and participate in decision making to enhance productivity of the Division. Prepare and monitor the budget of Project Engineering. Job Description: Manage the work of a team of project engineers, resource planners and contract service supporting staff in the delivery of resource capacity management, project management and outsourcing management services to enable Engineering to deliver project design packages according to project schedules and within approved budgets. Organize, plan, schedule, direct and coordinate work, assign tasks and monitor the progress of work to conform to schedules. Evaluate the effectiveness of the section's planning, project coordination and contract management capability through various means (capability assessments, quality control, etc.) and recommend changes to enhance performance. Interview and select candidates for staff positions. Assess the performance of staff and conduct performance appraisal interviews as required. Initiate recommendations on hiring, firing,
