DryBuild Group is looking for an experienced plumbing subcontractor for basement, residential, renovation, and small commercial projects across Calgary. Must have plumbing experience, own tools, reliable vehicle, and knowledge of Calgary plumbing permit and inspection requirements.
DryBuild Group is hiring a Plumbing Subcontractor to join our team on a project-by-project basis.
We work on basements, residential homes, renovations, and small commercial construction projects across Calgary.
This position is ideal for an experienced plumber who can complete plumbing work safely, cleanly, and according to project requirements. Projects may include bathroom renovations, basement plumbing, drain and water line work, fixture rough‑ins, fixture installation, laundry connections, and other plumbing‑related tasks depending on the scope.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, follow drawings and site instructions, coordinate with other trades, meet deadlines, and prepare work for inspections when required.
Calgary plumbing permits are required for plumbing work such as installation, addition, or alteration of plumbing systems.
Responsibilities
Complete plumbing work according to project scope and site requirements.
Read drawings and follow layout measurements accurately.
Install or adjust water lines, drain lines, vents, fixtures, and related plumbing components as needed.
Coordinate with framing, drywall, electrical, HVAC, and finishing trades.
Prepare work for inspections when required.
Follow safety guidelines and job site instructions.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Communicate clearly regarding progress, scheduling, materials, and inspection needs.
Deliver clean, qualified workmanship on every project.
Requirements
Previous plumbing experience is required.
Must be licensed or legally qualified to perform plumbing work in Alberta.
Experience with Calgary plumbing permits and inspections is a strong asset.
Must be a subcontractor or able to work as one.
Own tools and reliable vehicle are required.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Must be punctual, reliable, and respectful on site.
Experience with basement developments, bathroom renovations, and residential plumbing is an asset.
Must be legally able to work in Canada.
