Job Role

Physiotherapist Juniper Health is looking for a new team member (or two) to deliver much needed Physiotherapy services in Yellowknife. We are open to a new grad or someone with experience. You will have the option to treat a wide variety of conditions as one of the main alternatives to Government health care.

Our recent Physiotherapist will receive generous education assistance, relocation help, signing bonus, online mentorship, yearly travel assistance and opportunities for advancement if interested. Assets include IMS/Acupuncture, Ergonomics, or other advanced training, however, this is mainly an orthopaedic position.

Juniper Health also works in remote northern communities providing fly-in services. As a new physiotherapy on our team you would have opportunities to provide care across Canada’s Arctic.

Currently we offer: Registered Massage Therapy, Counselling, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Reflexology, Osteopathy, and Psychology.

Expected annual salary (including commission) for full time: $150,000-$200,000 (or greater) including perks.

Compensation is negotiable based on whether the successful candidate chooses to move to Yellowknife or work on a locum basis.

Main Responsibilities

Client Care and Service Provision

- Cooperate with clients, families, community members and members of the inter-professional team in the planning and delivery of programs for clients,
- Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of clients and families in the clinic,
- Liaise with other healthcare providers to provide and receive relevant information about the medical history and progress of clients,



as well as referring clients who require other specific healthcare provision,
- Ensure education of clients/caregivers regarding status and management of the condition,
- Access, prescribe and monitor assistive devices for mobility,
- Maintain up-to-date clinical records using the Electronic Records system,
- Uphold the rules of conduct according to your College of Physiotherapists.
