Kardium’s mission is to deliver the best treatment for atrial fibrillation. To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.

We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch of the Globe® Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life-changing technology to patients!

As a member of the Process Quality Engineering team, you will gain hands-on experience applying data analytics and problem-solving skills to real-world manufacturing and quality challenges. You will work with engineers and cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, improve reporting tools, and support initiatives that help drive product quality and manufacturing performance.

Please note, this chance is an onsite work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

What You Will Experience

You will engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills such as:

- Analyzing manufacturing and quality data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting and enhancing quality and yield dashboards used to monitor manufacturing performance.
- Assisting with defect tracking and data-driven investigations to help solve quality-related problems.
- Exploring factors that influence manufacturing yield and evaluating opportunities to forecast future performance.
- Developing data visualization, reporting,



and process monitoring tools to support business decision-making.
- Collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Presenting project outcomes and insights to stakeholders at the end of the work term.

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:

- Currently enrolled in an Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree program.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in working with data to support business and engineering decisions.
- Experience using Excel and familiarity with data analysis, visualization, or reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and work independently when needed.

Compensation

Compensation for this role is based on multiple factors including your current year of study, the number of previous co-op terms completed, as well as market data.

Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Relocation Support

- Relocation Allowance: We offer a relocation allowance to support out-of-province students moving to Burnaby BC for their Co-op/Intern term.
- Community Before Day One: Out-of-province students make up about 30% of each cohort. We connect all incoming students through email before the term starts to help with planning the move.
