Key Responsibilities :

Assess, treat, and support clients of all ages to improve independence and daily functioning.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and rehabilitation programs.

Recommend adaptive equipment, mobility aids,



and environmental modifications.

Collaborate with physicians, families, schools, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Educate clients, caregivers, and staff on therapy goals and treatment strategies.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor client progress.

Support program development, quality improvement, and community outreach initiatives.

Promote health, wellness, and injury prevention through education and advocacy.

Key Qualifications:

A Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university; AND

A Minimum of one (1) year of occupational therapy experience; three years considered an asset

Additional Requirements:

Eligibility for registration with a provincial Occupational Therapy licensing body

Successful completion of the CAOT national certification examination
