Our client is a well-established commercial general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Alberta. Known for its collaborative approach, long-standing client relationships, and commitment to excellence, the company is seeking a Project Manager to join its Calgary team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead construction projects from pre-construction through to closeout.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate project teams to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify risks and opportunities.
- Manage project financials, including forecasting, change orders, progress claims, and cost reporting.
- Support project planning, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
- Monitor project performance and proactively resolve issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality,
and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and support Project Coordinators and other junior team members.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Several years of experience managing commercial construction projects as a Project Manager.
- Experience working for a general contractor in Western Canada is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, project delivery methods, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.
