Job SummaryWe are seeking reliable and professional Security Officer's for the Long Plain First Nation Security Services Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and implementing loss prevention strategies. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is preferred however training is provided for qualified candidates.ResponsibilitiesMonitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure security protocols are followedConduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazardsEnforce access control procedures by verifying identification and managing visitor check-insRespond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents,



and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as neededMaintain detailed incident reports and documentation of security activitiesAssist with loss prevention efforts by observing and deterring theft or vandalismEducate staff and visitors on safety procedures and security policiesConduct surveillance operations to prevent unauthorized access or activitiesQualificationsPrior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirableKnowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniquesStrong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior quicklyExcellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionallyAbility to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situationsMust be attentive to detail and dependable in performing routine security dutiesValid security license or certification as required by local regulations is preferredThis position offers an chance to contribute significantly to the safety of our community while working in a professional environment committed to excellence in security services.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $17.75-$25.35 per hourWork Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
