This company fabricates and assembles components for heavy trucks, defense, and off‑road equipment.Position SummaryThe Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to perform various tasks such as drilling, milling, and turning. This role requires a combination of technical skill, precision, and problem‑solving ability to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience in precision machining, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance (PMs) and requesting repairs as neededTroubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and operational issuesPrepare and load/set up raw material, weldments, or castings in machinesProgram and run CNC codeUse various equipment and tools to create and repair tooling, including grinders, welding equipment, machining equipment,
