Syndio seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to enhance its core platform. This position offers a chance to design, build, and scale distributed systems while owning the complete backend service lifecycle. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in backend development and a deep understanding of API design, event streaming, and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: • Design and operate distributed microservices using Go and Python • Build event streaming and data processing pipelines with Kafka • Architect APIs across REST, GraphQL, and gRPC • Optimize databases with Postgres and relational ORMs • Maintain cloud infrastructure via GCP and AWS
Requirements: • 7+ years of backend systems experience • Proficient in Go and Python • Solid database fundamentals with Postgres • Familiar with Kafka and event-driven architectures • Knowledge of Terraform and CI/CD
