OverviewTriumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is looking for an Environmental Specialist for its Field Services team. The role supports on‑site hazardous waste disposal and shipment services, ensuring compliance with provincial and federal regulations.This position reports to the Fleet Manager and is based in Niagara Falls, ON. It requires travel to various locations, including the Greater Toronto Area, using a company vehicle during work hours.Flexible work schedule: Wednesday to Sunday (Apr 1–Jul 31), Tuesday to Saturday (Aug 1–Oct 30), and Monday to Friday (Nov 1–Mar 31).ResponsibilitiesDevelop an understanding of OHSA regulations and Triumvirate’s health and safety practices.Build and maintain expertise in provincial and federal regulations, ensuring client and company compliance.Prepare chemical and biological waste for shipment and disposal, including segregation, container labeling, and chain‑of‑custody/billing documentation.Safely handle hazardous waste containers at client sites and manage loading/unloading from vehicles.Operate Triumvirate commercial vehicles (Class G) while transporting hazardous materials.Provide technical expertise and labor support at municipality‑hosted Household Hazardous Waste events on weekends throughout Ontario.Perform and document Environmental Health and Safety audits for clients when required.Conduct spill response measures, including assessment and cleanup.Respond promptly to emergency situations involving hazardous materials.Basic RequirementsBachelor's degree or college diploma in environmental, chemistry, or a related discipline,
