Role Description This is a part time remote Security Guard role supporting AC Security Inc.’s clients through technology-enabled monitoring and response.

The Security

Guard will observe live and recorded video feeds, verify alarms, and report suspicious activities or incidents according to established procedures.

Responsibilities include documenting events accurately, completing digital incident reports, and communicating promptly with supervisors, clients, or emergency services when required. The role involves following security protocols, adhering to privacy and safety regulations,



and using AI-assisted monitoring tools and client platforms to maintain situational awareness.

The Security

Guard will collaborate with the broader security team, attend remote briefings or training sessions, and consistently represent AC Security’s commitment to safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

- Solid interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to interact professionally with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of physical security principles and practices, including access control, surveillance, and incident prevention.
- Experience or training in personnel security and private security, with an understanding of confidentiality and ethical conduct.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, using digital tools, monitoring platforms, and communication systems.
- Attention to detail, situational awareness, and sound judgment in assessing risks and escalating issues appropriately.
- Basic familiarity with CCTV, alarm systems, and AI-assisted monitoring solutions; willingness to learn current technologies.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting and coordination with emergency services.
- Relevant security guard training or certification (provincial/territorial licensing where applicable) is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it is an asset.
- Reliable internet connection, suitable work from home environment, and flexibility to work evenings, nights, or weekends as needed.
