As a Packaging Operator, you'll package items using both manual skills and machine assistance, focusing on accuracy and safety. The position requires inspecting products for inconsistencies, labeling them appropriately, and keeping your work area organized and compliant with hygiene standards. You'll also report quality and equipment concerns directly to your supervisor.
Key Responsibilities: • Package finished products based on production schedules • Inspect for defects and damages prior to packaging • Label and seal items for shipment • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workplace • Follow all SOPs and work instructions
Requirements: • Preferred high school diploma or equivalent • Previous manufacturing or packaging experience is an asset • Ability to perform repetitive tasks effectively • Strong attention to details and ability to follow directions • Good teamwork and communication skills
