Must possess a valid operator's license and provide a transparent criminal records check for which a pardon has not been granted, and have no charges pending before the courts.Additional Required Qualifications:Must have a current Community Peace Officer Status. Must have a valid PARE (Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation) upon application. Must be eligible for appointment as a Community Peace Officer by the Public Safety and Emergency Services Department. Good computer skills, in a Microsoft Windows/Office environment. Superior demonstration of communications and interpersonal skills. Possess good investigative report writing skills. Familiarity with Canadian law. Effective handling of stress, conflict/negotiation skills. Ability to function in a team and individual environment. Ability to function independently, knowing when to refer issues upwards.
