Role Summary:
The Product Manager – Digital Solutions is responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and continuous improvement of Fastfrate Group's customer-facing shipping systems, digital tools, and related technology-enabled products.
This role serves as the primary business liaison between customers, Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Technology,



to identify customer and business needs and translate them into clearly defined product requirements and system functionality.
A key focus of the role is understanding how customers interact with Fastfrate Group throughout the shipping journey and designing digital solutions that make it easier to quote, book, tender, manage, track, document, and analyze shipments across the Fastfrate Group portfolio.
The Product Manager will lead the development of business requirements, user stories, process flows, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, product roadmaps, and feature priorities for new and existing shipping systems.
The role will have direct ownership of the business requirements and product development roadmap for Fastfrate Group customer shipping systems and will work closely with Technology and development teams throughout product design, development, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement.

Office Key Accountabilities:
In this role, you will:
Digital Product & Shipping System Ownership

- Serve as the primary business owner for Fastfrate Group customer-facing shipping systems and related digital products.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of how customers interact with Fastfrate Group systems throughout the shipping lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve customer shipping processes, including:
- Registration and account setup
- Rate quoting
- Shipment booking
- Bill of lading creation
- Label and document generation
- Pickup requests
- Shipment tracking
- Proof of delivery
- Customs documentation
- Claims
- Invoice visibility
- Reporting and analytics
- Customer notifications
- API and system integrations





- Establish and maintain a long-term product roadmap for customer shipping systems.
- Evaluate existing system functionality and identify gaps, enhancements, and new capabilities.
- Ensure shipping systems effectively support Fastfrate Group transportation, logistics, warehousing, distribution, customs, and supply chain services.
- Identify opportunities to create a more consistent and integrated digital customer experience across Fastfrate Group operating companies.

Product Design & Customer Experience

- Lead the definition and design of new product and digital features and functionality.
- Map current-state and future-state customer journeys and shipping workflows.
- Identify customer pain points, unnecessary process steps, system limitations, and opportunities for automation.
- Develop functional concepts and product designs that improve usability, efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.
- Work with UX/UI designers, developers, Technology teams, and external partners to develop wireframes, prototypes, workflows, and system designs.
- Ensure digital solutions are intuitive and designed around the needs of customers, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and other users.
- Promote consistency in navigation, terminology, workflows, and user experience across Fastfrate Group digital platforms.
- Benchmark Fastfrate Group shipping systems against transportation, parcel, logistics, and digital shipping platforms to identify best practices and emerging functionality.

Business Requirements Development

- Lead the development of detailed business requirements for current systems, features, enhancements, and integrations.
- Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with customers, Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Marketing, Technology, and other stakeholders.
- Translate business needs and customer problems into clear and actionable system requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation including:
- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional requirements
- User stories
- Use cases
- Process maps
- Customer journey maps
- Workflow diagrams
- Business rules
- Data requirements
- Integration requirements
- Acceptance criteria
- Feature specifications

- Clearly define the business problem, desired outcome, user requirements, functionality, dependencies, and measures of success for each initiative.
