Senior Data Engineers (Hybrid) — Databricks

The Roles

We're looking for Senior Data Engineers with deep, hands-on Databricks experience to be the Big Data & Cloud technical leads on our newest engagements. You'll work directly with enterprise clients on complex, high-stakes data platforms — not from the sidelines, but as the person driving the technical solution. This is a build-and-lead role: architecture, hands-on Spark/Databricks development, and mentorship, all at once.

What You'll Do

? Own Big Data & Cloud environments end-to-end — performance, capacity management, monitoring, and data movement ? Act as the Big Data & Cloud technical lead across teams, shaping architecture, integrations, security, and infrastructure decisions ? Lead delivery on internal and client-facing products, building big data software that solves real business problems ? Scope and define technical requirements and project objectives for complex, multi-team engagements ? Build scalable,



reliable ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data from a wide range of sources ? Bring Agile rigor — code reviews, unit testing, and clean delivery practices ? Mentor junior engineers and help turn them into experts ? Be the technical go-to for both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders

What You Bring

✅ Databricks experience — expert level required and Certifications strongly preferred ✅ 5 years of Spark development (PySpark, Scala-Spark, or Spark SQL); Spark Streaming experience strongly preferred ✅ Azure services (ADLS, ADF, AKS, etc.) ✅ Streaming technologies such as Kafka and Spark Streaming ✅ Agile development experience (JIRA / Confluence) ✅ Version control (Git) ✅ Familiarity with dev tooling (IDEs, Maven, SBT) and orchestration tools (Airflow, Autosys, Oozie, Cron) ✅ Containerization/orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes) is a strong plus ✅ Track record deploying applications to cloud environments ✅ University degree in a STEM discipline (Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Software Engineering, Mathematics)
