Position Overview

Infinite Outsourcing Solutions Inc. (IOS) is hiring an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver multiple high-priority, complex technical projects and programs.

The successful candidate will provide end-to-end project leadership, from project initiation and requirements gathering through planning, implementation, delivery, and post-implementation evaluation. This role requires a strong combination of technical project management expertise, stakeholder management, leadership, risk management, and hands-on experience coordinating IT infrastructure and hardware-related initiatives.

The Senior IT Project Manager will work closely with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, project sponsors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully within established scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Management

- Lead multiple complex and high-priority IT projects concurrently from initiation through successful implementation and completion.
- Manage the complete project lifecycle, including project kickoff, requirements gathering, planning, execution, implementation, monitoring, closure, and evaluation.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and delivery timelines.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, success criteria, and implementation strategies.
- Ensure projects remain aligned with overall business requirements and strategic priorities.
- Monitor project performance and proactively address issues that may impact scope, schedule, budget, quality, or delivery.
- Lead implementation planning and coordinate deployment activities across technical and business teams.

Technical Project Delivery

- Manage technology and IT infrastructure projects involving hardware, systems, networks, and related technical solutions.
- Coordinate projects involving technologies such as Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, firewalls, switches, network infrastructure, hardware upgrades, and technology deployments.
- Work closely with technical resources to understand implementation requirements, dependencies, risks, and deployment strategies.
- Translate business requirements into structured project plans and actionable technical deliverables.
- Coordinate technical implementation activities across multiple teams, vendors, departments, and locations where required.

Stakeholder Management

- Identify and engage appropriate business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner with Project Sponsors, Business Owners, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to establish project requirements and expected outcomes.




- Build consensus between stakeholders while effectively managing competing priorities and expectations.
- Establish appropriate project governance, oversight, escalation paths, and decision-making processes.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external project partners.
- Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, implementation meetings, and stakeholder discussions.

Risk, Issue & Change Management

- Proactively identify, assess, document, and manage project risks, issues, constraints, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Develop mitigation and contingency plans to minimize project disruption.
- Establish and manage effective project change-control processes.
- Evaluate requested changes for potential impacts to scope, budget, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
- Escalate critical risks and issues to the appropriate stakeholders when required.
- Demonstrate strong conflict-management and problem-solving capabilities.

Budget & Project Controls

- Monitor project budgets and expenditures regularly.
- Track project progress against approved schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
- Identify potential budget or schedule variances and develop corrective action plans.
- Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Reporting & Documentation

- Provide timely and accurate project status reporting to senior leadership, Project Sponsors, Business Owners, and other stakeholders.
- Report on project milestones, deliverables, timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and overall project health.
- Document current-state and future-state business/process workflows.
- Ensure appropriate business participation, review, approval, and sign-off.
- Maintain project plans, decision logs, risk registers, issue logs, change requests, meeting documentation, and implementation plans.

Education & Experience

- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive project management experience, preferably managing technology and IT-related projects.
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing increasingly large and complex projects.
- Proven experience managing projects from initiation and planning through implementation, delivery, and evaluation.

- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is considered a strong asset.

Additional Requirements

- Must possess a valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence.
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle for business-related travel when required.
- Ability to travel to project or implementation locations as required.
- Ability to provide departmental coverage when necessary.
- Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
